Cowgaroo is a music project founded in 2003 by music producer John Webster and singer & actor Sven Sorring. The project’s core philosophy is all about having fun and producing music across a wide variety of genres.
While it operates primarily as a studio collaboration between John and Sven, Sven’s natural home is the stage. To bring the project to life in front of an audience, he gathers local musicians from his home base in Linz to rehearse for live performances. A signature element of Cowgaroo’s live shows is inviting guest musicians to perform both Cowgaroo tracks and select songs of their own that match the project’s unique style. When taking the music out of the studio and onto the stage, the live formation performs as „COWGAROO the Band“.
